ARTICLE 1 NAME AND LOCATION

The name of the group shall be DRUMVALE RIVERVIEW WELFARE GROUP . Registered under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Kenya. Non-profit, non-partisan, and non-denominational.

ARTICLE 3 OBJECTIVES

• Provide welfare support during bereavement.
• Foster savings and collective investment.
• Promote education and award bursaries.
• Enhance security and social cohesion.
• Undertake community development projects.

ARTICLE 5 FEES & CONTRIBUTIONS

Registration fee: Ksh 100 (once-off). Joining contribution: Ksh 2,000 (once-off). Monthly welfare contribution: Ksh 500.

ARTICLE 7 GOVERNANCE

Elected Executive Committee: Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and three Ordinary Members. Term: 2 years.

ARTICLE 9 MEETINGS

AGM: February and September annually. Special General Meetings: 3 days' notice for urgent matters.

ARTICLE 21 WELFARE BYLAWS

Contributions: Ksh 300 (nuclear) | Ksh 500 (principal) | Ksh 200 (parents). Payouts: Ksh 60,000 (nuclear) | Ksh 100,000 (principal) | Ksh 30,000 (parents). Deadline: 7 days from announcement. New members: 2-month waiting period.

ARTICLE 23 LOANS

Loans from members' savings at 10% interest, 3-month term. Qualifies after 6 months of saving. Vetted by loan committee.

ARTICLE 25 RESIGNATION

Members may resign immediately. Receive 80% of savings. Members with arrears in more than 3 cases are automatically removed from welfare register.

Your information is collected solely for processing membership applications, maintaining accurate membership records, managing welfare activities and communication, processing member benefits and assistance, and meeting legal and governance obligations.

4. Data Security

The Welfare protects your information through password encryption using bcrypt, secure HTTPS encryption, secure cloud storage, role-based access controls, and regular security monitoring.

5. Access to Your Information

Sensitive information is accessible only to authorized administrators, including the Chairperson and designated Super Administrators. Regular members cannot access other members' confidential information.

6. Sharing Information

The Welfare does not sell or share members' personal information except where required by law, with the member's consent, or to protect the Welfare's legal interests.

7. Member Rights

Members have the right to access their personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent where legally applicable, and request deletion where permitted by law.
